Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Controller:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including variance analysis and long-term financial planning.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Analyze and control costs to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Support the CFO and executive team in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of financial systems and processes.


Qualifications of the Corporate Controller:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
