Summary

A Leasing Agent is responsible for brand management and providing a superior customer experience to our clientele; through fielding incoming prospect traffic, scheduling leasing tours, and following up with prospects in order to close the lease. This position is a 50/50 split with hours allocated in the Leasing Communication Center to build their prospect pipeline and entering the field to show our communities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITLIES

  • Responsible for abiding by all fair housing laws.
  • Knowledge of Lloyd policies & procedures.
  • Must respond to phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with prospective residents to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide information about the local area.
  • Conduct a needs-based analysis, by matching needs/wants of the prospect with our available inventory.
  • Be an expert on the properties by knowing their rents, specials, amenities, and special features.
  • Complete thorough an accurate paperwork such as applications, leases & verifications.
  • Client facing leasing interaction when prospects come to the corporate office.
  • Track how prospects hear about us when call tracking is not being utilized.
  • Track monthly rentals.
  • Track and execute follow-ups for your prospect pipeline.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate leasing records and follow up on application status to ensure appropriate bonus figures are applied.
  • Responsible for relaying any messages to site staff when appropriate.
  • Attend regular staff meetings.
  • Achieve monthly goal quotas and focus on target properties.
  • Authority to act on behalf of site management (in most situations).
  • Knowledge in Lloyd property management software systems including but not limited to Prospect Management Systems (Yardi CRM), Outlook, Microsoft Word, Web browser navigation, Mitel MiColab phone system, chatra (livechat), booking apps, and Yardi Voyager).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No direct supervisory responsibilities

  • Computer literate and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates or Bachelors’ degree (preferred)
Previous sales experience is a plus.
