Glue Fabricator - Contract Furniture

This position is responsible for assembling foam products onto furniture frames. Glue fabricators are required to foam, assemble and fiber parts with an air-assisted spray gun. This job requires the fabricator to work constantly with their hands. This job also requires the operator to frequently lift products that may exceed 30 lbs. This position will communicate with the team leader for direction of materials to be assembled.

  • Must be able to handle repetitive motions of hands, arms, and fingers.
  • Maintain quality expectations
  • Attention to Detail and accurate eye for symmetry.
  • Must be able to stand for 9 hours in one place. Heavier lifting is required up to 50Ibs
  • Trains on proper cleaning of glue gun and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to take directions and follow standard work instructions
  • Demonstrates safe working habits and attitude.

Environmentally controlled work environment (Heat and A/C)

First Shift Work Hours: Monday Through Thursday 7am - 4:30pm and Friday 7am -11 am (overtime would be additional hours on Fri)

Required skills and experience:

  • Prefer 1-4 years working in manufacturing utilizing a glue gun.
