Your expertise in financial modeling will play a crucial role in providing accurate forecasts, scenario analysis, and valuation insights to guide our organization's financial strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, sensitivity analysis, and scenario modeling.
  • Build valuation models for investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and capital budgeting decisions.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to gather relevant data and assumptions for modeling purposes.
  • Validate and verify the accuracy of financial models, ensuring they adhere to best practices and accounting standards.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, presentations, and recommendations based on model outputs to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact financial models.
  • Provide training and support to finance teams on financial modeling techniques and best practices.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience (X years) in financial modeling, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software (e.g., DCF models, LBO models, scenario analysis).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and valuation methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
