Job Description

The Product Manager will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to development, launch, and iteration. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements to deliver products that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Product Strategy

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals.

Market Research

  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

Product Development

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to develop and launch products. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to develop and launch products.

Roadmap Planning

  • Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track product performance and gather user feedback to inform future development.
  • Monitor product performance through analytics and customer feedback and iterate on product features to improve user satisfaction and business outcomes.

Requirements Gathering

  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and translate them into detailed product specifications.

Project Management

  • Oversee the product development process, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

User Experience

  • Focus on creating a seamless and engaging user experience by working closely with UX/UI designers.
  • Track compliance requirements (e.g. Accessibility, Data Security, etc.).

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.

Lifecycle Management

  • Manage the product lifecycle from launch to end-of-life, ensuring products meet quality standards and business objectives.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or a related role.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of software development processes, and experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of market research techniques and competitive analysis.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value to end-users.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Marketing Certification, or similar certifications.
