SUMMARY

 

Our Cost Allocation and Match Specialists play a pivotal role in delivering Trax’s Freight Audit and Pay services.  This role works closely with customers to design and develop business rules that gather, analyze, and report complex financial information.  We are looking for a candidate who sees beyond the numbers and understands how the freight industry and our customers operate. The ideal candidate enjoys problem solving both business challenges and technical troubleshooting


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

  • Develop and design business rules (models) to effectively drive customer’s cost allocation for weekly deliverables and strategic reporting.
  • Monitor and manage customer business rules (models and tables) with a continuous improvement mindset to ensure that they are driving optimal results for customer goals and reporting.
  • Design, build, and test the multidimensional data structure required to support cost allocation models and reporting requirements from a combination of incoming data files and data elements provided by the customer and their carriers.
  • Work with the Trax development team to design and test the processes to transfer and load incoming data files from customers and their carriers.
  • Ensure that customer business rule sets are current, effective and efficient.
  • Work closely with customers and Trax team members to understand issues and how they impact weekly deliverables and customer reporting.
  • Coordinate with Trax team members on delivering customer weekly reports and deliverables for Cost Allocation
  • Participates in regular customer meetings as required.
  • Create reports using data from a multidimensional database that satisfy stated requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Technical associates degree or Bachelor's degree from an accredited technical school, college, or university; Degrees or certificates preferably in business, accounting or data base administration. Working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables across multiple clients is a core skill
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse personalities while maintaining a professional attitude working with both internal and external parties.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Demonstrated Leadership skills, our dynamic workplace requires individuals who thrive in ambiguous situations

REMUNERATION:
