Cornhusker International Trucks (CIT) is looking to hire a Full-time Outside Parts Salesperson to join our growing Sioux City, IA Parts team

Working at CIT, you don't feel like a number and you don't have to go through a long line of managers to get an answer for your customer

Work Shift: Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: 55,000 annually + commission

The following skills/abilities are needed to perform the duties of an Outside Parts Salesperson:

  • Develops parts sales territories with Parts Sales Director
  • Calls on existing customers and prospects new business
  • Drives to visit customers within the sales territory perimeter
  • Evaluates customer needs by selling parts, sharing cost advantages and provides timely delivery
  • Creates and maintains a daily and weekly call list and schedules follow up meetings with customers
  • Responsible for marketing new parts products and creating parts specials for customers
  • Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding annual sales goals
  • Follows company & department's process and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates a natural sales ability
  • Demonstrates good communication skills both orally and written
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrates professionalism in the workplace
  • Demonstrates good time management skills and is detail-oriented
  • Demonstrates the ability to attract and retain new business

Requirements:

  • High School diploma and/or Associates degree in business preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of sales experience in a dealership setting is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel); Email (Outlook)
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Must pass a drug test, background check & parts physical
