JOB SUMMARY:  

 

Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), the 4th largest and largest private Outdoor Advertising firm in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Market Sales Coordinator responsible for sales coordination between National AOA team and home market. 

 

The primary focus and responsibilities of the position is to serve as a regional liaison between AOA and other external outdoor advertising groups. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE:  

  •   Uses independent judgment to resolve matters of significance with national sales team on behalf of home market. 
  • Point of contact in home market for all National RFP’s, coordinating activities associated with these RFPs, to include interaction with National AOA team to assist with processing.
  •  Fields phone and e-mail requests from certain non-National agencies as the need arises. 
  •  Responds to all AOA National team requests on behalf of local market: Proof of performance, Posting instructions, material status, holds, contracts, specs rate negotiation, etc. 
  •  Lead sales assistant team with RFP strategy and oversee all national proposals before responding to AOA National team. Day to day point of contact for SA team for questions, concerns, and help with cohesive proposals. The sales Coordinator is responsible for training and improving the Sales Assistants’ skill sets.  
  •  Act as liaison between AOA National team/Advertising Agencies and fronted local account executives. Help coordinate efforts on both sides.  
  •  Help onboard new employees with training in software, best practices, contract documents, market processes, etc. 
  •  Step in, when necessary, on sales accounts that need interim assistance/coordination. 
  •  Attending weekly market conference calls. 
  •  Weekly projections for accounts handled by the Sales Coordinator.  

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  •  High school diploma or equivalent w/two to four years general office experience. 
  •   Knowledge of advertising functions and terms.  
  •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent typing and computer skills.  
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.  
  •  Excellent customer services skills.
