We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our new therapy services team near Wilmington, Delaware. This SLP will support Pre-K by providing in-person direct & indirect services. You'll be an essential part of the team, working closely with students, families, and educators to provide quality speech and language services.

Position: Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Wilmington, DE

Anticipated Caseload: 15-30 students*

Job Responsibilities:

As an Early Childhood Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Wilmington, Delaware, you will join a collaborative team working to address the communication skills of young children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations to assess speech and language disorders that impact academic achievement.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address each student's specific needs.
  • Delivering direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students.
  • Working in close partnership with classroom teachers and interdisciplinary teams to support students' speech and language development.
  • Continuously monitoring student progress through observations and data collection, allowing for necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Provide varied service delivery models (i.e. push-in, pull-out) to enhance the progress of your students.
  • Maintaining transparent and regular communication with caregivers, offering updates and strategies to foster continued growth at home.
  • Traveling to various community-based sites to provide services.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a school-based or pediatric setting.
  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Communication Disorders.
  • A valid DE SLP license from the Delaware Division of Professional Regulation.
