Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to children with developmental delays and their families. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children's communication and swallowing disorders, as well as consulting with family members and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's communication and swallowing skills
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address children's communication and swallowing needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to children, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
  • Consult with family members and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive services to children and their families
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of children's treatment plans and progress
  • Ensure that all services are provided in a culturally sensitive and family-centered manner
Requirements:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York
  • Experience working with children with developmental delays and their families
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
