NuCara Infusion Services is looking for a full-time Revenue Cycle Management Auditor to join our growing operation As a Revenue Cycle Management Auditor, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient and timely billing and collection of claims in relation to our infusion services through our third-party partner. You will support the pharmacy through a variety of tasks related to billing management. The expectation is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and promptly.

Responsibilities

  • AR review with third-party billing company
  • Reimbursement evaluations for new specialty referrals
  • AR review calls with third-party collections team, tracking aged and denied claims
  • Per diem code verification for delivery ticket confirmation
  • Patient statement reviews in Collect+ - help patients with high balances set up payment plans, work with self-pay team for collection of over-due balances, PAP team for copay enrollment
  • Payer contract monitoring for re-credentialing, ensuring claims are billed under correct provider based on contract set-up
  • Audit royalties taken on claims to ensure they match master list based on location/therapy
  • Cost adjustment requests for underpaid claims/incorrectly quoted referrals
  • Self-pay infusion and indigent contract AR tracking
  • Assist with patient assistance program management
  • Prior authorization and copay tracking
  • Work with business development team to share reimbursement trends by payer and therapy
  • Responsible for invoicing and receiving payments for our contracted hospitals and clinics

Skills

  • Knowledge of medical or business office management systems and procedures
  • Strong working knowledge of medical billing and revenue cycle management experience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Socially perceptive and service oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Familiarity with health insurance plans and medical billing

Operational hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Preferred)
  • Spanish Speaking (Preferred)
  • Employment contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
