Finance Assistant Trainee

Job Summary:
Sunnyside Chevrolet is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant Trainee to join our team in Elyria, Ohio. As a full or part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within the automotive industry while earning a base salary plus commission. This individual contributor role will provide administrative support to our finance department and assist with daily tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our dealership.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Assisting the finance team with daily tasks such as data entry, filing, and paperwork processing
- Reviewing and verifying information in financial documents
- Communicating with customers to gather necessary information and answer questions
- Preparing and sending out financial documents to customers
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Learning and understanding the financing process for vehicles
- Assisting with inventory management and tracking of vehicle sales
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or bachelor's degree in finance or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in the automotive industry but not a requirement
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of financial concepts and terminology
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screening
