TAX Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Tax Analyst for one of our clients in the manufacturing space, headquartered in the Cleveland ohio area.

Essential Functions:

* Assist in the preparation of domestic tax returns including federal and/or state income/franchise/gross receipts and municipal income taxes.

* Prepare various tax-related reports, including income tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.

* Assist with state income, gross receipts and franchise tax audits and notices, including appeals and protests.

* Assist with technical and worksheet modeling support on tax planning and strategic projects in determining tax implications including transfer pricing.

* Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's ongoing compliance.

* Compile and analyze financial data to support accurate tax reporting and calculations.

* Analyze and interpret complex tax laws and regulations, providing insights and recommendations to the finance team.

* Conduct thorough research on tax issues, credits, deductions, and other related matters to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.

* Assist in preparing requests for rulings and for tax litigation.

* Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.

* Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.

* CPA

* Significant tax experience in public accounting

* International Tax experience

* Experience with One Source or Go System tax return software
* At least 2 years of experience in a corporate tax environment

* Strong understanding of tax regulations, applications, and accounting principles

* Experience with preparing domestic tax returns

* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
