Kustom US is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician for their California location. The Lead Mitigation Technician is responsible for supervising work on emergency and non-emergency service jobs to perform advanced techniques for water and fire mitigation, as well as remediate areas damaged by mold, water, or fire. Responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked and prepared company vehicle to drive to work sites, obtaining necessary paperwork, preparing work areas for demolition, cleaning, equipment setup, drying and continually monitoring moisture levels until project completion.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Effectively supervise & direct teams & contractors on job sites.
  • Oversee emergency water extraction services & setup of service equipment.
  • Inspect all jobs on a weekly basis for quality control, safety, & compliance.
  • Review and debrief managers of progress and challenges encountered.
  • Complete thorough documentation and upload paperwork to the database as needed.
  • Perform demolition clean, & remove debris from drywall, carpentry, & flooring.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in the restoration construction industry.
  • Hands on approach to leadership with excellent communication & problem-solving skillset.
  • IICRC Water Certification required, additional certifications such as Fire, Mold, etc. a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Outlook email skillset is required.
  • Experience with DASH and MICA a plus
