Job Description:

The Medical Records Technician (Senior) role involves overseeing clerical tasks related to maintaining medical chart files and handling the release of medical information. This position requires technical expertise in health care records management, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate record-keeping practices. The individual will have the autonomy to coordinate medical records activities while following established policies and guidelines.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in medical records management, with the ability to provide guidance to junior staff.

Education/Training: High school diploma or GED required, certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) with AHIMA preferred.

Selection Process:

If you meet the minimum qualifications, you may be selected for further evaluation, which could include various assessments to test your suitability for the role. A minimum score of 70% is required to proceed in the selection process.
