4th Year PAID Audiology Externship in Sunny South Carolina

Palmetto ENT & Allergy, a division of Charleston ENT & Allergy is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Audiology Externs to join our team in Columbia, SC Our Audiology Department offers an excellent externship experience with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

We provide a wide variety of audiology services for all ages. You will work and learn alongside experienced audiologists and renowned otolaryngologists and otologists in a thriving practice with room to grow.

Our fast-paced offices will provide experience in the following to ensure you leave your externship as an exceptional audiologist in many facets:

  • Diagnostic audiological testing for pediatrics and adults
  • Newborn hearing screenings
  • OAEs
  • Vestibular testing (VNG)
  • ABR testing (both sedated and natural sleep)
  • Neurodiagnostic ABRs
  • Hearing aid evaluations, fitting, follow up and troubleshooting with multiple hearing aid manufacturers
  • Ear plug fitting and dispensing
  • Osseointegrated device fitting and dispensing
  • Establish patient rapport, gather a thorough case history, and counsel patients on all of the above
