The Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of our managed services and support contracts, including our Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) device offerings. This position requires a dynamic individual who possesses a blend of technical proficiency, sales acumen, and a deep understanding of our business model and service capabilities. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in crafting compelling proposals and contracts that align with our strategic goals and financial parameters.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support for managed services and RMM device offerings.
  • Develop and present tailored proposals and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value and technical competence of our services to potential clients.
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, profitable, and aligned with staff utilization and company capabilities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our service portfolio, including emerging technologies and managed service offerings planned for the next two years.
  • Ensure all proposals maintain our base gross margin requirements and adhere to strategic pricing models.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to the sales team, enhancing their understanding of technical aspects and service capabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements to continuously refine and enhance our service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably within the managed services, IT, or telecommunications industry.
  • Strong technical foundation, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and proposal-writing skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and closing sales opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of business and financial principles related to service offerings, pricing models, and gross margin.
  • Highly motivated with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
