Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionThe Loading Dock is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming and hospitable environment for both members and guests. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with event setups and breakdowns, and ensuring the smooth execution of events.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a hospitable culture for members and guests 
  • Greeting guests and informing members of guest arrival
  • Setting up event configurations using proper safety and lifting techniques.
  • Following opening and closing check-lists for events.
  • Assist vendors and guests with set-up and breakdown of the venue.
  • Conduct walkthroughs to ensure no damage was made by guests and communicate with the Event Coordinator to ensure proper billing.
  • In addition to regular days, there may be event management duties to include evening and weekend hosting member events, set up, clean up, etc.
