Sr. CNC Programmer

JOB TITLE: Sr. CNC Programmer - 2nd shift

LOCATION: Covina, CA

PAY RATE: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Details:

• 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

• 2nd shift: 2 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. (1st shift may be considered for an exceptional candidate)

Summary:

• Program 5-axis milling and multi-turret/multi-spindle lathes using MasterCam.

• Develop, edit, and support CNC programs and tooling fixtures.

• Assist with first-time runs, program tryouts, approvals, and new product introductions.

• Promote Lean activities and provide technical support to CNC operators and machinists.

• Ensure product quality and support CNC programs, including possible day or weekend shifts.

• Guide and coach other CNC programmers to meet deadlines.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in CNC programming and machine shop practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to use MasterCam for CNC programming with CAD data and 2D drawings.

• Design, implement, and maintain tooling and documentation.

• Troubleshoot machining issues and continuously improve manufacturing processes.

• Support Manufacturing Engineers with routing and special projects.

• Perform machine setups and edit G&M code programs as needed.
