Automotive Sales Manager - Multi-State Automotive Group - Naperville, IL

A US top 50 privately held Automotive Group is looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager who can drive productivity through effective and valued-centered leadership. The Automotive Sales Manager assumes responsibility and is accountable for customer retention and the profitability of the sales department. They should work to fulfill responsibilities while utilizing sound business management practices.

Essential Duties

  • Hires, trains, and motivates all sales department managers and product specialists.

  • Must be committed to the CRM and manage inbound and outbound leads.

  • Meets with product specialists individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives and to review actual performance.

  • Communicates management policies and procedures to all employees and ensures that they are understood and followed.

  • Provides enthusiastic leadership to help shape employees' attitudes and build morale.

  • Holds regularly scheduled sales meetings to ensure that every department is operating efficiently and profitably.

  • Responsible for New and F&I Performance.

  • Resolves any sales-related customer complaints.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong Auto Sales and Sales Management Experience

  • CDJR Experience a plus

  • FI Experience a plus

  • Strong Closing Skills

  • Strong Ethics and Values

  • Excellent Leadership and Communication Skills

  • Excellent People Skills

  • Must have valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record test

We are looking for applicants with a proven track record of more than 5 years working in a dealership as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,0000 + per year
