SUMMARY: The main responsibilities of a Executive Account Manager, revolve around the ability to utilize in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and video conferencing to build exceptional relationships with large accounts and prospects to purchase Grr waste services. This Account Manager Position will cover the South Carolina Market Area and includes sales opportunities into all GRR facilities or operations.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact prospective customers utilizing leads generate from Concertive EPA data base or similar programs.
  • Visit customer sites to provide sales presentations to large prospective clients, and close new deals.
  • Ensure the completion of all profile sheets, pricing documents, prepare preliminary pricing, and credit applications.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Work with Sales Managers to negotiate special pricing with prospective clients.
  • Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Maintain client communication, contacts, and records in Zoho CRM program
  • Maintain any required weekly and monthly reports.
  • Provide in-person, phone, and video sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understand and promote GRR waste management programs and services.
  • Assist Accounts Receivable to obtain past due balance of payment from clients.
  • Regularly visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote and sell Grr services
  • Answer client questions about waste streams, waste codes, process capabilities, and prices.
  • Annually provide a budget and presentation at the annual Commercial Team Meeting.
  • Monthly attend Accounts Receivable Calls.
  • Weekly meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Must be able to multi task.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues while maintaining a professional and calm demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, business, marketing, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A strong knowledge of the hazardous and non-hazardous waste approval paperwork and procedures.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and prospects.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, & CRM
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
