Occupational Therapist (OT) - Pediatric

Location: 2370 Bruce B Downs Boulevard, Wesley Chapel, FL, 33544

Scheduled Hours:

Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

After-school hours, Monday through Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Starting Pay Rate: $40 - $62/Billable Hour

What You'll Do

A typical day at MySpot is dynamic and fulfilling, requiring empathy, analytical skills, and a commitment to improving children's lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the evaluation of patients' functional abilities and limitations to help develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve patients' fine motor skills, strength, coordination, and independence in daily activities.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and responses to treatment, adjusting interventions as directed by the occupational therapist.
  • Instruct patients and their families in therapeutic techniques and activities they can perform at home to enhance rehabilitation progress.

What You'll Need

  • Active Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license in state of practice.
