Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: IT Enterprise Application ManagerJob ID: PC69466644Location: Irvine, CA Overview:The IT Enterprise Application Manager is responsible for providing technical leadership to shape the strategy, architecture and design of enterprise applications, including ERP, QMS, PLM and CRM solutions across the organization. This role plans and manages all aspects of design, implementation and maintenance of enterprise applications to effectively apply technology solutions to improve core functions of the business. The role will collaborate with other senior IT team members to determine priority, time and resources required, as well as an overall strategy to fulfilling and completing business driven projects.What you will be doing:
  • Lead analysis of business needs, design, development, implementation and support of enterprise applications.
  • Develop ideas to help extend the functionality of business applications to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead and manage product system roadmaps for enterprise applications.
  • Work closely with a team of analysts, development partners and business stakeholders to develop and deliver a backlog for enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with IT Leadership to provide strategic direction and planning.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends to be used as enhancements or upgrades to existing applications.
  • Plan, execute and monitor the progress of projects related to enterprise applications.
  • Help develop project management standards, procedures, templates, and other shared documentation.
  • Manage external partners to support development and implementation efforts.
  • Provide backup support for enterprise applications as needed.
  • Assist with knowledge management and user training efforts.
  • Contribute to IT departmental budget planning and management.
  • Generate periodic reports for business stakeholders and IT team.
  • Collaborate with other teams across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you must have:
  • Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in business, technology or related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading business application management.
  • 5+ years of experience managing teams through the software development lifecycle.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in evaluating, using and/or managing cloud-based applications and services.
  • Proficient in using one or more of the following systems: NetSuite, Salesforce.com, Slack, O365 Suite, Microsoft Azure platform
  • Strong familiarity with quality management system (QMS) or product lifecycle management (PLM).
  • Broad business and/or technical work experience.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and project milestones.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills, including an ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately influence others.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding, change-oriented, fast paced environment requiring a high degree of deadline-driven productivity
  • Strong task management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle and prioritize multiple requests
  • Exceptional written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
