Job Summary:
Working remotely as an Implementation Engineer and reporting to the Manager of Implementation and Training Services at Securly, you'll combine your technical knowledge, project management skills, and communication abilities to deploy and integrate our EdTech solutions in K-12 schools primarily during the 8-5 pm PST business hours. Your work ensures that our products seamlessly fit into school systems, creating safer and more effective learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Technical Implementation: Set up and integrate Securly's products, tailoring them to meet the unique needs of each school and making a direct impact on student safety.
  • Collaborate with School IT Teams: Work with school IT departments to gather requirements, design plans, and execute deployments that align with their educational goals.
  • Technical Support: Assist sales teams with technical expertise during customer meetings, webinars, and product demos.
  • Implementation Assistance: Assist in developing software network architecture for new installations and upgrades.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Offer technical support during and after implementation to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Train educators and IT staff on how to effectively use Securly's products.
  • Documentation: Create and manage up-to-date internal and external product and training documentation.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to internal teams to help improve our products and services.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of software systems, databases, and networking, with proven skills in diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Communication and Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams, and to clearly present complex information.
  • Customer Service: Ability to build strong client relationships, provide excellent service, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Resiliency and Adaptability: Ability to stay determined and flexible in the face of challenges, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and take charge of projects with minimal supervision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong skills in analyzing data and feedback to improve implementations and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven success in technical implementation or system integration, ideally within the EdTech industry.
  • Familiarity with student safety solutions and K-12 educational technology.
