Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within our organization. This hybrid position allows you to work both remotely and in our NYC office, providing flexibility while ensuring collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to stakeholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing regular updates to management.
- Assist in the preparation of board presentations and other executive-level reports.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to evaluate the financial impact of campaigns and initiatives.
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of financial systems and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within a marketing, media, or related industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- CFA or MBA is a plus.
