Guaranteed monthly salary of $3,000 starting for the first three months
As a Volkswagen of Duluth Automotive Sales Consultant, you will work closely with the Sales Managers to ensure our customers have a high-quality vehicle purchasing experience from the moment they come to us until the moment they drive away.
This position is customer-focused and team-based. Establishing and maintaining working relationships with our customers is essential. Developing working relationships with co-workers is also an essential part of ensuring our collective success.
Some key responsibilities of our Sales Consultants:
- Approach and assist new customers
- Prospect for new customers and update "CRM" syste
- Determine the needs of the customer by listening and asking questions
- Perform walk-around with the customer and demonstrate features of suitable automobile
- Effectively close automotive sales
- Ensure the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
- Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat business and referrals
- Follow-up with the customer's questions or concerns after the vehicle purchase process
- Understand and adhere to the Volkswagen of Duluth's Auto Privacy and Information Security Policies
- Complete all training and attend all sales meetings
- Maintain monthly sales goal requirements
- Be accountable to departmental performance standards
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver license and be able to pass an MVR check
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Dependable with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional personal appearance
- Ability to work Saturdays, late shifts and over 40 hours per week
- Ability to perform under pressure
