Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to consumers of US Auto Sales. The ideal candidate is personable and committed to providing a seamless onboarding experience for new customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular outreach to customers to welcome them and guide them through their initial ownership journey.
  2. Ensure that customer and account details in the Dealer Management System are accurate and in line with agreements.
  3. Confirm customer contact information to facilitate timely communication.
  4. Manage all incoming and outgoing calls related to early-stage overdue payments.
  5. Process payments, adjust due dates, and make necessary amendments for eligible customers.
  6. Utilize various communication channels, including email and phone, to follow up with customers regarding their accounts.
  7. Adhere to established policies and procedures to maintain compliance within the Account Services department.
  8. Balance company policies with customer needs when making decisions.
  9. Escalate complex issues to supervisors while ensuring accountability for resolutions within scope.
  10. Act as a resource and subject matter expert, potentially providing training to team members.
  11. Achieve required scores on departmental assessments.
  12. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Data Entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

  • Some college coursework
  • 1 year of experience in call centers, collections, or Buy Here Pay Here environments
