The Junior Fund Accounting Analyst will support the fund accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fund Accounting: Assist in the daily operations of fund accounting, including maintaining general ledger accounts, processing transactions, and reconciling accounts.
  • Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and fund performance reports.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial data and transactions for accuracy and completeness, and assist in identifying discrepancies or issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Communication: Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather information and resolve accounting issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of financial transactions and documentation for audit purposes.
  • System Support: Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of accounting systems and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to fund accounting or financial services.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
