Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Punch Press, Hard Tool Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating punch press machinery, ensuring the precise cutting and shaping of metal components. This role requires a high school diploma and a strong attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Punch Press Machinery: Set up and operate punch press machines to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications.
  • Tooling Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on hard tools and dies, ensuring they are in good working condition and making adjustments as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and address any defects or issues.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to management.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used, products produced, and any maintenance performed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production processes and timely completion of orders.


Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience operating punch press machinery in a manufacturing setting preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of punch press operation, tooling, and maintenance.  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in all tasks.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
