Position Overview: Our client is in search of a skilled Lead Offset Printing Specialist to oversee operations on a state-of-the-art 40" Komori 6 Color plus Coater UV press. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity, offering a competitive pay rate based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate the offset printing press efficiently.
  • Adhere to job specifications to determine print quantities, material requirements, color schemes, and special instructions.
  • Continuously monitor pull sheets for ink density, positioning, and registration accuracy.
  • Make necessary adjustments during production to ensure optimal registration and color consistency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the printing press.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the printing industry is essential.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a First or Second Pressman with extensive knowledge of the Komori 6 Color & Coater UV 28 x 40 offset press.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to produce work efficiently.
  • Proficient understanding of print processes, design principles, and color management.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail and visual identification skills.
  • Highly motivated and productive individual.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in plastic printing is advantageous.
