Location:

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 2 days per week available for remote work and the remainder in our downtown Tampa office. We value flexibility and a work-life balance and are also excited to welcome someone who brings a proactive and results-oriented approach to their work.


About the Role:

As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the tax reporting, tax planning, and compliance functions. Other responsibilities include developing solutions for potential tax issues, keeping informed of new developments in tax legislation, and informing staff of new legislative developments. The Tax Supervisor will advise clients on tax planning, tax research, and tax compliance. They will supervise the completion of accurate tax returns in order to minimize the tax obligations of an individual or organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of individual and business taxation and the ability and willingness to work in a team environment to assist in all phases of engagement.


Position Responsibilities and Required Qualifications:

  • Generally, a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant tax experience within a public accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of accounting is required, Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Participates in career development programs to improve supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Licenses and Certificates: CPA license eligible or obtained required
