Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Social Worker to team up with us and create positive change in the lives of elementary students at a therapeutic school in Highland Park, Illinois. In this unique role, you will be supporting students with SEL and behavior disabilities. If you are passionate about working with higher need populations and enjoy working collaboratively in the school setting, we’d love to hear from you

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support (whole group, small group, 1:1) to identified elementary school students.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure student well-being and success.
- Advocate for students’ holistic well-being (social, emotional, academic).
- Cross-functional collaboration with teachers and families to understand how to best meet student needs.
- Provide push-in and pull-out services as needed
- Facilitate IEP meetings
- Develop and track interventions in order to understand IEP effectiveness.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in Social Work
- LMSW license eligible in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience in a PreK-5 setting preferred
