Responsibilities include
- Performing structural model start-up including generating plan and section views for engineers to begin coordinating and redlining from.
- Generate complete construction documents from Revit, including framing plans, details, and schedules based on input and redlines from structural engineers
- Coordinate with other disciplines, (architectural, mechanical, etc) to ensure that all models are accurate and resolve modeling conflicts.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Graphics, or equivalent education/experience.
- Understanding of building construction drawings including general notes, plan views, section views, and structural details.
- Basic understanding of structural engineering and construction practices.
- Basic understanding of mathematical skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years previous experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
