The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing and test engineering environments as well as troubleshooting and fixing assembled PCB boards.

Responsibilities of Flying Probe Test Tech & Programmer:

  • Develop Flying Probe programs and create coverage reports.
  • Operate Flying Probe machine.
  • Working with the manufacturer to resolve any equipment issues related to programming and/or software/firmware.
  • Support the ICT Equipment, working with outside service to fix any issues.
  • Troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and systems.
  • Develop test procedures and train operators.
  • Interface with customers to provide test reports resolve issues

Qualifications of the Flying Probe Test Tech & Programmer:

  • Preferably 2-years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing environment doing programming, testing and/or debug.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, test technician, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience operating Flying Probe test equipment. Candidates with no Flying Probe experience will be considered if they have some machine programming experience and show a desire to learn (training will be provided)
  • Must have fluency in English.
  • Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability for reading and interpreting electronic schematic diagrams.
  • Highly motivated to cross-train for alternate test duties (SMT programming, X-Ray programming, AOI Programming)
