We are a residential group home for youth, dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals in need. As part of our commitment to their well-being, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Kitchen Staff.
Job Description:
As a member of our Kitchen Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the residents receive nutritious and delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Preparing and serving meals following established recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Assisting in the planning of menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Communicating effectively with residents and colleagues to provide a positive dining experience.
  • Adhering to all dietary restrictions and special requests as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Home Manager.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment preferred, but not required.
  • A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
