POSITION SUMMARY:

As a frontrunner in the quicklube automotive equipment sector, Devon Industries specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality service equipment aimed at revolutionizing oil change and maintenance processes in automotive workshops. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients across various sectors, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our product offerings. This role requires a strong ability to communicate the value of our turnkey equipment packages and additional services to a diverse customer base.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand Devon's market presence.
  • Identify and target potential clients, including quicklubes, dealerships, independent shops, municipalities, and government facilities.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our equipment packages and services.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, including post-sale follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and installation teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on sales performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to effectively position our products.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and services.
REUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Proven track record in outside sales, ideally within the automotive, equipment, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive quicklube market and the specific needs of various customer segments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.
