A bank that we are representing is on the search for a Loan Servicing Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent role, and based out of Miami, FL.

This bank is a full-service, state-chartered commercial bank possessing total assets of over half a billion dollars, headquartered in Miami-Dade County, FL., has been consistently rated a 5-Star Bauer Financial banking institution, and operates several retail banking centers located in the heart of Miami-Dade County.

As a Loan Service Specialist, you would be responsible for booking new loans, renewing loans, loan modifications, and posting monetary transactions on the loan system including loan prticipation payments.

Key job duties, among others:

•Managing outstanding exceptions prior to processing loans and advances.

•Establish and monitor ticklers for periodic interest rate changes on ARM and CD loans.

•Promptly scanning loan closing documents, uploading loan closing documents, and the electronic credit to the archival system.

•Set up real estate taxes tracking for new loans with the third-party provider.

•Daily clearing of unposted transactions.

•Reviewing estoppel letters prior to issuance.

•Responsible for loan pay-off process, including: release of collateral, partial releases/satisfactions, and satisfaction of recorded documents.

•Daily and monthly reconciliation of general ledger, unposted, suspense, and escrow disbursement account reconciliations.

•Booking of non-ledger/charged-off loans.

•Booking of stand-by letters of credit.

•Preparing wire transfers for disbursements and loan participations.

•Annual generation of escrow analysis and escrow real estate tax disbursements.
