Job Summary:

As part of the overall marketing efforts for the Hospitality group, plan and implement all social media campaigns and taproom events at our Indianapolis locations.

 

Social Media Responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts for five Indianapolis Upland locations across Meta platforms
  • Create content from beginning to end, including copywriting captions within our brand voice
  • Publish content daily, following the posting structure and content calendar
  • Capture engaging in-the-moment content including but not limited to: events, banquets, beer tappings, and specials
  • Create reels and other videos for social media
  • Create graphics for social media
  • Monitor all social media content
  • Engage with audiences on social media in ways that boost engagement
  • Plan and execute all content photoshoots in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop the content calendar
  • Create all content within the planned timeline and submit it to the Digital Marketing Manager for approval before posting

Event Planning Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging taproom events at five Indianapolis Upland locations, in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager, location General Managers, Regional Managers, and Chefs
  • Create and manage marketing campaigns for events
  • Utilize platforms including Eventbrite and Meta to advertise events and sell tickets as needed
  • Ensure all events are fun and engaging, as well as benefit the taproom by driving business
  • Attend all events to ensure they run smoothly and to capture content for future marketing

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills; able to converse comfortably with customers and partners
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing engaging marketing events
  • Strong project management skills and ability to focus on multiple priorities
  • Tech-savvy with respect to marketing tools, platforms, and resources
  • Wednesday-Sunday availability required.
  • Able to work at one of our Indianapolis-area locations five days per week, with flexibility to cover tap room events on evenings and weekends
  • Must have or be able to get an unrestricted permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, driving record sufficient for coverage under our corporate insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to operate company vehicles as needed.

 

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in marketing or related field strongly preferred
  • Experience with various marketing and brand management activities required; experience in a related industry preferred

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
  • Prolonged period of standing and navigating event locations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • Flexible availability, with ability to participate in events outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends
