As a Site Civil Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of site development projects, including land development, transportation systems, stormwater management, and utility design. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute your technical knowledge to deliver high-quality projects that meet client requirements and comply with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of civil engineering plans, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utility systems.
  • Conduct thorough site investigations, surveys, and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, cost estimates, and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate site design elements effectively.
  • Perform hydraulic and hydrological calculations to develop stormwater management strategies and designs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, monitor progress, and manage project budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities and address any engineering-related issues.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians as needed.
