We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Concrete Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Concrete Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing concrete construction projects from inception to completion. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the successful execution of various concrete-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Site Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of project sites to evaluate soil conditions, site layout, and potential challenges related to concrete construction.
  2. Concrete Testing: Perform tests on concrete mixtures to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards, ensuring the structural integrity of the project.
  3. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop efficient and effective plans for concrete-related tasks, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
  4. Formwork and Reinforcement: Supervise the installation of formwork and reinforcement to guarantee the accurate placement and alignment of concrete.
  5. Concrete Placement: Oversee concrete pouring and finishing operations, ensuring proper techniques are used to achieve the required surface characteristics and durability.
  6. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
  7. Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel involved.
  8. Equipment Management: Manage and maintain concrete-related equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition for use.
  9. Troubleshooting: Address any on-site challenges or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner, proposing solutions to maintain project progress.
  10. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of concrete quantities, testing results, work progress, and any modifications made during the construction process.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in concrete construction and field operations.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete materials, mix design, and relevant industry standards.
  • Familiarity with construction methodologies, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using construction software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites.
