What we do:
On the surface, Captions enables creators to generate, edit, and post videos to any platform with ease — but behind-the-scenes, we’re building multi-modal foundational models to enable features like text-to-video, avatar generation, video-to-video translation, talking face generation, 3D reconstruction and more. Our Machine Learning team is working on the latest in video diffusion, tracking, nerfs, gaussian splatting, and more.
Responsibilities:
Architect, develop, and train new models and algorithms based on cutting-edge research, with a focus on generative computer vision and video technologies.
Explore new areas and methods by conducting research and experiments with advanced neural networks, implementing novel techniques tailored for video and avatar generation.
Partner with machine learning engineers to translate research breakthroughs and new model architectures into practical applications that enhance our products and services.
Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of machine learning and computer vision.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in computer science or related field and 3+ years of industry experience.
Publication Record: Highly relevant publication history with a focus on computer vision. Specializations can include Diffusion, Video Generation, NeRFs, Gaussian Splatting, GANs, etc. (ideal candidates will have served as the primary author on these publications).
Expertise in Deep Learning: Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar, with hands-on experience in designing, training, and implementing generative models.
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms and data structures).

Compensation Range: $160K - $210K
