Job Description

A reputable hospital just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is seeking a Laboratory Tech to join their fantastic, hard-working team 

This 45+ bed facility offers a range of medical services to the surrounding communities, including: medical surgical services, a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient surgical services and an outpatient surgery center, women’s services, intensive care, a cardiac cath lab, advanced diagnostic imaging services and radiology, several outpatient clinics, as well as rehabilitation services. This hospital is also a designated Trauma Center.

The Hospital Laboratory Tech will be responsible for testing specimens and reporting results in this full-service laboratory, conducting hematology, chemistry, immunology, microbiology, pathology, and point-of-care testing. The Lab Tech will conduct testing according to current protocols and procedures in order to maintain a high standard of patient care. The Laboratory Tech will have the wonderful opportunity to utilize their knowledge and experience to maintain autonomy in the laboratory, working under minimal supervision of the Laboratory Department Director.

***ASCP Certification is required, either as a Bachelor's-prepared MT or Associate's-prepared MLT.***
