Position Summary: As a Controls Engineer, you will apply standard engineering techniques to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems. Your role will involve ensuring the efficiency and reliability of these systems, contributing to the smooth operation of various processes and technologies. Join us in enhancing the precision and performance of our engineering solutions.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Automation & Process Improvement: Automate manufacturing or similar processes through the use of instrumentation or controls systems
PLC Applications: Develop new and modify existing PLC applications, interfaces or embedded controls
Technical Proficiency: Develop new and modify existing PLC or HMI applications, interfaces or embedded controls.
Documentation & Standards: Accurately complete all necessary document specifications and operating procedures
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support the team and operations.
🎓 Qualifications:
Experience: Typically require a bachelor's degree and 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of Beckhoff PLC control systems for automated grinding; Fanuc machine controllers for Swiss style machines; Allen Bradley PLC system for assembly machines. Looking for the ability to integrate IOT with machine controls and PLEX MRP systems.
Skills: Ability to interpret work instructions, follow written and verbal directions, and communicate effectively. Must demonstrate manual dexterity and physical stamina, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
