What you would be doing:
- pretty much everything: learn how to manage the business from the bottom up and the top down, then we can figure out where your strengths and interests lie and create a position that leverages your brilliance, with a focus on the sales management and operations side of things
- sales: manage the sales team, dig into numbers, analyze customer purchase history, and help us drive top and bottom line growth
-operations: ensure the efficiency of business operations from point of purchase (the winery) to point of delivery (our amazing restaurant and retail customers)
What we require from you:
- be bright, a quick study & willing to be part of one of the most awesomest wine importing/distributing companies in the history of alcoholic beverages.
- have Google Workspace as one of your BFFs, or, you are willing to make it one of your BFFs.
- be adaptable.
- be super motivated, dedicated to a fault and extremely hard-working, but not stressed out all the time – we like to keep the vibes positive here at our global headquarters.
- be committed to thoughtful, inclusive, and courteous leadership
- be able to lift 40lb cases of wine (turns out liquid in glass bottles is kinda heavy)
- have your own ride, valid license to operate said ride, and insurance in case of an accident
What is not necessarily a deal-breaker:
- you don't hold a PhD in operations or sales. Since you are whip smart and catch onto concepts quickly, you’ll get it in no time.
- you don’t know everything about wine. See note above about learning, we’re all doing it ALL the time. Plus, teaching each other new things is one of the best parts of working for this company.

- 1001 Fairfax Avenue in Waynesboro, VA at least two days a week, the rest is flexible/remote/in the field.
