Job Overview

Kelly Services is hiring for our client in Honolulu We are currently seeking a responsible, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join their Accounting department as an Accounting Clerk. This is a full-time hourly position with excellent benefits (waiting period may apply), and the individual will be based at the corporate office in Honolulu, Oahu.

Essential Job Functions

- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department

- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner

- Data entry of financial transactions into the general ledger

- Research issues and discrepancies

- Follow established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

- Prepare reports and summaries of financial data

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of data

Skills/Abilities

- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an accounting clerk

- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures

- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

- Accuracy and attention to detail

- Data entry and word processing skills

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under time constraints with minimal supervision

 Qualifications

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a plus

- Minimum of 2 years of business/accounting experience required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with a focus on Excel

- 10-key by touch required

 Physical Requirements

- Regularly required to sit

- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally carry up to 25 pounds
