What’s involved in this role: 

We are looking for a (Position Title) in (City, State).  

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for activities relating to the deployment and maintenance of SAP QM integration at the plant site.   SAP QM integration/ownership mandate is vital.·        

  • Ensure the effective deployment and ongoing use and maintenance of SAP at the site, especially in the QM area.

  • Lead the maintenance, collection, and quality of master data for the quality function and the analytical sector of the laboratory in SAP.

  • Collaborates in the resolution of master data, quality design configuration issues and quality functionalities in SAP.

  • Participates in maintaining food quality, safety, and security requirements.

  • Assists in execution of validation activities, including creation of plans, coordination of validation work, and writing of summary reports.

  • Support the food safety and quality assurance functions to ensure that proposed and existing products and processes are reviewed to avoid or eliminate food safety and quality issues; developing recommendations for improvements that increase product uniformity, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Communicate effectively with employees, maintenance, quality, management, and other team members.

 

What you need to join our team:  

·       

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, microbiology, chemistry, or related Science Degree required.

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a quality or laboratory manufacturing environment required.

  • SAP experience strongly preferred.
