Our client, a leading company in the Biotech industry, is seeking a Assembler II to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting various product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Assembler II
Location: Hillsboro, OR
Pay Range: $21.00 Hourly
What’s the Job?
1. Conduct assembly, wiring, alignments, and final configurations of components.
2. Conduct Assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
3. Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process.
4. Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions.
5. Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment.
What’s Needed?
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
3. Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes preferred.
4. Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement a plus.
5. Ability to use appropriate PPE.
