Job Description

A well-respected, award-winning hospital in Northern New Mexico has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospital Spiritual Director.

This reputable, 170+ bed hospital holds many top awards including excellence in Patient Safety. With state-of-the-art equipment and advanced medical technology, this full-service hospital offers services including Emergency, Women’s Services, Surgical Services, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Behavioral Health, and more. 

The Hospital Spiritual Director is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Spiritual Care Program. The Hospital Spiritual Director will manage Spiritual Care Program staff including Spiritual Care leadership, Chaplains, and department staff. In addition, the Hospital Spiritual Director will provide direction for the program to enhance spiritual care for patients and families dealing with health crises. 

Requirements:

 

  • Master of Divinity or Masters in Theology from an accredited university or seminary

 

  • ACPE Certification

 

  • NACC / APC Certification

 

  • Member of the Roman Catholic Church
