LifePoint Health is seeking a skilled critical care nurse to join their team at Los Alamos Medical Center in Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Job SummaryThis 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and caring environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized patient care plans, incorporating medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient condition, communicating effectively with the care team, physicians, patients, and families as needed.
- Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and families, providing education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A minimum of one (1) year of acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- A current state nursing license.
- Appropriate certifications as required for the specific position.
- A degree from an accredited school.
- The ability to communicate clearly, with the capacity to read, write, speak, and understand English.
