Job Summary: 

Perform administrative support to the HR team.  Primary support will be in recruiting efforts.  

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Greet individuals who arrive at the plant for orientation  

  • Answer recruiting phone calls for application status 

  • Assist individuals with completing applications online 

  • Assist in completing pre-boarding work (WOTC, E-Verify, Background, etc.) 

  • Prescreen and call new applicants to set up interviews for Live Ops and plant support groups 

  • Partner with OHS on scheduled drug screenings 

  • Provide a report of daily absence call-ins to plant management.  

  • Prepare orientation list, check in new hires, and take them back to orientation room 

  • Create new hire files 

  • Ensure employment documents are filed appropriately and in a timely manner in associates’ personnel files. 

  • Manage union bid positions (postings, communication, etc.) 

  • Update appropriate trackers in Excel 

  • Other tasks as assigned by HR Supervisor or HR Manager 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

  • Previous experience working with an enterprise database (e.g., SAP, ADP, Taleo) 

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to be accurate, efficient, and productive under conditions that involve frequent interruptions and distractions 

  • English/Spanish or English/Marshallese bilingual (speak, read, and write) is strongly preferred 

Education & Experience:   

  • High school diploma or equivalent required 

  • At least one (1) year of experience performing similar job duties, preferably in a manufacturing environment 

 

Shift:   Day (Through 12/31/2024)

Hourly/Salaried:  Hourly - Based on Experience
